T Hudson Osgood
„It is not that I hate straight lines and order.
They just are not my personal favorite. I like to wander. By wandering, you probably will get lost. Then you figure your way out, learning things you never expected. Curves are more about the indirect, with the organic confronting linear logic.
In grade school we would have rote penmanship exercises, repeatedly copying our names in cursive. My name, Osgood, thankfully does not feature straight lines. While others groaned , I reveled in the "loopity loop" exercise. That was my private grade school experience in microcosm-while being pointed in one structured direction, I found my escape route“
